Editorial Voice
Serif headlines, generous whitespace, considered copy — a school that reads like it's run by adults who notice.
A boutique editorial redesign for a small, family-run preschool in Rivonia — children aged three months to five years, small classes by design, qualified teachers in for the long run, and slow mornings as a feature, not a bug.
A small, family-run preschool tucked into a leafy corner of Rivonia. Three months to five years, three programmes, three day-lengths, all meals prepared on-site — and the conviction that the early years are not a rehearsal.
Boutique family-run preschool at 2 Elizabeth Avenue, Rivonia. Three programmes — Cubs, Explorers, Pride — across the three-months-to-five-years age range. Open Mon–Fri, 07:00–17:30.
Full website redesign — boutique editorial direction, three-programme architecture, daily rhythm explainer, gallery, parent testimonials, and a "Book a viewing" enquiry flow.
Make the school's calm, deliberate character land on screen — so parents shortlisting Rivonia preschools recognise the place before they even visit.
Preschool websites tend to look identical — stock photos, pastel grids, "nurturing environment" copy. Little Lion needed a digital presence as distinctive as the school itself.

Cubs (3–18 months), Explorers (18 months–3 years), Pride (3–5 years) — each with its own tone and ratio.
Half day, extended half day, full day — all with meals on-site. Parents need this on the first scroll.
The decision moment is a school visit — surface it as a first-class action, not a buried form.
Treat the website like the school itself: small, intentional, and full of attention. Let typography and pace do the heavy lifting.
Studied the school's actual voice — slow mornings, qualified teachers, the kind of detail that doesn't fit a template.
Navy + warm-cream palette, gold accents, classical serif display. Real garden photography. No pastel grids in sight.
Hand-coded HTML and CSS — semantic, accessible, fast. A site that reads like one quiet morning at Little Lion.
Deployed as a live, shareable demo — programmes, daily rhythm, gallery, and the viewing-enquiry flow all working end-to-end.
